Boat, Fires, and a Right Old Knees Up.

Boat
Launched the boat last week for the forthcoming season.
Took her for a shake down cruise on Monday aided and abetted by the Saasaig boys.
They were on their best behaviour with no fighting or swearing at any point in our voyage.
In fact, they were a credit to Saasaig.
Fire
This unexpected warm, dry spell of weather has many crofters itching to set fire to any dried grass or heather they can find.
I’m afraid I’m no different.
‘I’ll be very careful. I’ll keep it under control.’
Aye, right.
The reality is often a blazing inferno that can be seen from the Moon which leads to Tarskavaig and Achnacloich being evacuated.
Weekend
What a great weekend we just had. Wining and dining around Sleat followed by a right old knees up at the Clan.
Great craic, altogether!
