A Major Construction Project
Started building a new hen house this week - the girls deserve it.
I’m recycling a shed that was destroyed by Hurricane Morag last December.
They’ve requested Velux windows but no way! They can sit and swivel!
Cock o’ the North
Took delivery of a new cockerel this week to ‘look after’ the girls.
I don’t think he got much sleep on his first night in Cruard.
When I let the flock out next morning he looked like he’d been dragged through a hedge backwards and was staggering around in a state of complete exhaustion.
Sheep
Went up to the common grazing yesterday with a bag of feed slung over my right shoulder to feed the flock.
Sadly, they were nowhere to be seen.
It seems that my catering provisions just aren’t to their liking anymore!
If that’s their attitude then let them eat grass!
Alcohol
It’s Friday, it’s five o’clock, and the weekend starts here.
