Fish, Grass, and, Dung.

Fish
Went fishing yesterday. Headed South from Camuscross for a mile or so and dropped a darrow at the Faoilean.
Nothing doing.
Headed North and tried the same off Isleornsay Beacon with, sadly, a similar outcome.
What’s wrong with our local fish population? Why won’t they be tempted by a brand new shiny set of feathers.
Not only are they letting me down - they’re letting themselves down.
Grass
My plans to resume grass-cutting duties on Monday were cruelly thwarted by the arrival of more rain.
If things carry on like this parts of the garden will only be accessible with a machete.
Olympics
Preparations continue apace for this weekend’s Crofters’ Olympics at Duisdale.
Today’s task involves the safe removal of numerous large ‘deposits’ left by some of the local cow population.
I mistakenly mentioned recently that I was ‘quite handy with a shovel’.
Last time I’ll mention that.
