Olympics
Forget the 2012 Olympics being held in the deep south next year.
Some of us are starting to look forward to this Summer’s Crofting Olympics being held in Duisdale on Saturday June 11th.
There’s talk of a wider variety of events and attractions being planned compared with previous events.
Personally, I’m really looking forward to the female mud-wrestling.
Juggling
It was hoped to have a local juggler performing but that’s all up in the air as his hands are full.
Human Cannonball
The planned human cannonball from Saasaig has called off as he hasn’t quite perfected his act.
He was recently observed heading over Knock Castle at 500ft screaming like a banshee.
