Too Much Haste

Too Much Haste
One of my fellow Cruardians got a knock on his door the other morning whilst still in his bed.
He jumped up and ran downstairs with such haste that he’d put his wife’s false teeth in by mistake.
On opening the front door he was faced with 2 dusky young maidens wishing to discuss the merits of energy saving light bulbs.
Our man , engaging in conversation, sounded like a cross between Sean Connery and a Dalek.
It definitely shows the importance of not getting out the wrong side of bed.
Curried Eggs
The ‘Tarts with Hearts’ curry night turned out to be a fine social occasion in the Talla Duisdeil.
It was great to bring a little bit of Delhi to Duisdale for a few hours.
The only food left at the end of the night was rice and that’s been duly fed to the hens.
I believe Tarskavaig went Italian on the same night.
Aye, with all this international cuisine going on, there’s nowhere more cosmopolitan than Sleat these days.
