Biscuits
Whatever happened to the Bandit chocolate biscuit?
It was a small but significant part of my childhood way back before Gary Glitter had ever heard of Bangkok.
It seems to have gone the way of the Spangle and the Old Jamaica chocolate bar.
Ach, I don't know - maybe they banned it.
Piglets
It's that time of year when a Cruard crofter turns his thoughts to another batch of piglets.
Raasay is the place these days for a dependable source of young porkers.
Last year's pork is almost finished but damned tasty it was!
All that's left is a head, 2 trotters and a left ear.
