Her Lips Are Sealed
We had a near thing last week with ‘herself’.
She was going to put on some of her special lip cream ( as women do).
Unfortunately, the tube of super glue from the 99p shop looks remarkably similar.
Had she proceeded to use the wrong tube she’d have been unable to tell anyone.
Nightmare
Woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, mouth drier than the Sahara, after enduring a terrible nightmare.
My four finest wedders had escaped and ended up amongst the Golden Crofter’s flock!
I then had legged it along the road at a great rate of knots.
I discussed the matter with him and tried to establish the best way to return them to their rightful home.
He said he’d happily sell four fine wedders to me to replace my escapees!
This morning I realise I shouldn’t have had that second cup of coffee just before midnight and I really must repair that dodgy gate at the foot of the croft…….
