The latest batch of Struan hens are settling into life in Cruard and laying well.
I often wonder if they ever pine for the rocky, windswept part of Skye from whence they came.
I don’t think so.
Duck
The Indian Runner that was recently injured by an unknown marauding animal has now returned to full fitness.
For a while she had lost a ‘yard of pace’ and was lagging behind her compatriots but her wounds have healed up well.
Erection
There’s an interesting new erection in Cruard which is worth having a look at.
It’s not often that a clinker built structure which isn’t a boat appears in the township.
