The Cheviot, The Swag, and the Black, Black Soil.

Sheep

The latest arrivals in Cruard have settled in well.

They don’t seem to be pining for the green slopes of Ardghunel which is good.

I think they know they’ve come to a better place.

Swag

I’m seriously considering acquiring a metal detector.

Recent historical finds in Cruard ( and I’m not talking about lost albums by Loudon Wainwright) seem to point to great treasures beneath the croft.

Last Cut

Cut the grass for the last time this year.

The last of the tatties were dug up and very nice they were too.
