Drinking Joggers

Drink
When it comes to drink I’m a great believer in moderation.
I remember an old acquiantance in Kyleakin who announced one afternoon that he intended to show future restraint with his own alcohol consumption.
‘I’ll have a quick one in the King’s on my way home,
go out after tea for a couple in the Haakon, then maybe a few more later on back in the King’s - then that’s it!
No more - no more till tomorrow!’
Joggers
There’s been a serious outbreak of jogging lately in Camuscross.
I’ve never been a great exponent myself, though.
If I want to get somewhere at a faster rate than walking pace I prefer to fire up the tractor.
Fishing
Went fishing off Ardghunel last weekend and landed a few cuddies but, sadly, nothing else.
The only thing to do with a cuddy is to stick in a creel in the hope that it’ll be converted into a good-sized lobster!
