Sneckie
Visited Inverness this week with herself and the offspring.
Made the obligatory trip round one of these large supermarkets.
As usual, we ended up with one of these trolleys that had an aversion to moving in a straight line.
I was providing the main propulsion down aft whilst ‘herself’ was providing transverse propulsion up forward ; the shopping trolley equivalent of a bow thruster!
Thus, we managed to steer a relatively straight course up and down every aisle till we were fully loaded.
Changed Days
I have it on the highest authority that times have changed in the Praban bar, Isleornsay, that fine bastion of Gaelic culture and scene of great drinking exploits over the years.
I refer to the current soundtrack being played as locals and yachties mingle and engage in social intercourse.
Apparently, it’s Capercaillie and Runrig no more!
Step forward Lady Gaga your time has come!
What’s wrong with the girl from Ness who does a more appropriate act ; Lady Guga.
