Catching Cuddies
Went fishing last weekend down by the Tartar Rock.
Not so much three men in a boat - more a case of ‘Herself’, Number Three, and me.
The darrows were attracting fish – it’s just a shame it wasn’t the desired species!
We caught a dozen or so reasonably- sized cuddies which will make ideal bait for the creels.
Converting cuddies into lobsters – it’s got to be eminently sensible.
Atlantic Weather
After the long spell of dry weather we’ve had it’s back to the Sou’-Westerlies once more.
At least the ducks are happy to see their pond filling up with water again.
Talking about ducks, the very upright Indian Runners are doing well in their new surroundings.
Ideally, the breed are supposed to stand at an angle of 80 degrees from the horizontal (or 10 degrees from the vertical).
Armed with this knowledge I’ve tried to measure their stance with a protractor but I just can’t get them to stand still long enough!
