A Little Known Fact
Did you know that the lyrics to the 'Hokey Cokey' were attributed to a man called Jimmy Kennedy in the 1940s?
No, neither did I.
Jimmy, as far as I'm aware, had absolutely no connection with Camuscross, Duisdale, or even Scotland.
Bear with me.
Apparently, when poor Jimmy passed away his family were placing his body in the coffin.
They put his left leg in......... and that's when things started to get a bit awkward!
Vegetable Garden
Started constructing a raised bed for vegetables today using some old timbers which were previously part of a shed.
There's nothing like recycling.
All I need need now is some topsoil...........
The Pigs Are Alright
The new arrivals from Raasay are settling in well to their new surroundings.
I'm still not convinced, though, that they're not planning some kind of escape.
Yesterday, I noticed that one of them was pacing the distance between their hut and the fence.
When I fed them this morning I found a scrap of paper showing the shortest route from the outside of the fence to the nearest trees.
I'm sure I'm worrying needlessly.
