Elections, The Stranglers, and Vegetables

Flesh
Despite the General Election fast approaching there’s been a distinct lack of political activity in Cruard lately.
Maybe that’s no bad thing, right enough.
I don’t fancy having my flesh pressed by any of these characters.
I’d rather leave that to herself.
Brown
Whenever I hear the name ‘Gordon Brown’ I’m reminded of the legendary punk band The Stranglers.
Didn’t they have a hit single of that name in the early 1980’s?
Vegetable Garden
Planning to turn the old hen run into a vegetable garden.
Well, why not ? – It’s enclosed by rabbit wire, fertilised with hen droppings, and it’s quite close to the house.
You all know it makes sense.
