Ploughing
Started ploughing the croft this week in preparation for this year’s tatties.
I reckon ‘Tractor Starting’ should be an Olympic sport.
In my case it would be a three day event.
Valentine’s Day
Aye, aye. It’s that time of year when a young man’s thoughts turn to all things, ...erm.......romantic.
It’s well I remember the day ‘herself’ and I got married.
We were very much into keeping it all as traditional as possible.
I’ll never forget the ‘carrying over the threshold bit' at the end of the night.
‘Herself’, though, complained that I was a wee bit on the heavy side.
