Buying a car

Used Car Salesmen
You’d imagine car salesmen must be fed up being used.
Anyway, I went through to Inversneck last week with the intention of purchasing a car for one of the boys.
The garage forecourts were treacherous with hard, compressed ice ; Torvill & Dean would have done well staying upright.
After much searching, haggling, and general all-round stress a deal was duly struck and a vehicle purchased.
Not really my idea of a great day out though.
New Moon
A New Moon at the weekend just passed.
To be honest I was perfectly happy with the old one.
Blue Skies
Aye, it’s encouraging to see blue skies, calm seas and mild weather.
The three don’t usually go together in January.
Almost makes a chap want to launch his boat and put to sea........
