Easy Listening?
Whilst putting the Christmas decorations back up the loft last week I had the inevitable burach around to see what else was up there.
After banging my head twice on the overhead timbers I stumbled upon a box of old CDs.
After blowing the dust off them they were taken downstairs for further scrutiny.
The first one I decided to play was a Scottish West Coast artiste who falls into the dreaded ‘easy listening’ category.
Anyway, after playing the first 3 tracks I’d have to say it was ‘difficult listening’.
So I switched it off.
Not So Cold
Aye, there’s a bit of a thaw on today (Monday, 11th January).
Having said that, there’s a North Easterly wind blowing into Camuscross Bay that would chill a chap to the very marrow.
The temperature is three degrees but it feels much colder.
For some reason the mention of ‘three degrees’ makes me visualise a trio of tall, black, female soul singers.
When will I see them again?
I’m starting to feel old.
