Going to Portree
Went to Portree this week with ‘herself’.
We don’t go very often but once in a while we grasp the nettle and head north.
There’s just something about Portree that doesn’t quite ‘hit the spot’.
The journey is spectacular – Beinn na Caillich, Marsco, The Cuillin Range – but driving down Glen Varragill you just know your destination won’t quite match the journey.
The geographical equivalent of sex without the orgasm.
No use at all.
