A successful ceilidh and dance was held on Saturday night at Talla Dhuisdeil, celebrating 40 years of the link between our communities and Sabhal Mòr Ostaig. Over 60 people were there to see performances by staff and students of the traditional music course at the college, interspersed with talented members from Camuscross and Duisdale. The ceilidh ended with a heartfelt reflection from Donnie MacKinnon on the past forty years in the community and the developments and growth that have lead to the strong and diverse community that we now know.
Many thanks to all at SMO for their help in organising the event. Thanks especially to Dr Decker Forrrest for involving so many talented musicians and singers from the college.
